Red Sky Pictures is extremely excited to announce it’s involvement with the much anticipated feature documentary that will forever change the Amityville Horror franchise. After watching the film evolve over the past two years, director Eric Walter was finally able to invite us to a private screening of the film last week. What we were not prepared for was how greatly the film would shake us.
The film centers around Danny Lutz, the eldest child of George and Kathy Lutz – a family made famous by the infamous Amityville house hauntings. Since the hauntings, the case has become a beast unto its own. Three major hollywood movies, several documentaries, and a number of books would help to make the Amityville case one of the most notorious unsolved mysteries in American history.
Danny Lutz has never before come forward with his detailed accounts of what really took place in that house until now. The result is a documentary that will question not only the stories revolving around the case, but the depth of the human psyche. Red Sky Pictures could not be more excited to be involved with such a brave project.
Months ago, Red Sky color corrected and made titles for the teaser trailer and has been extremely excited for the film to near completion. Starting in the next week, we will be color correcting the entire feature in our office, helping Eric finish his vision and bring it to audiences around the world. The film is already receiving great interest from fans and festivals alike.
